District Roots
Independent U.K. urban clothing brand District Roots have released their latest collection SW13. Following the success of their early releases they have added to their collection as they draw closer to their one year anniversary. District Roots started out with the sole intention of creating designs which people in the U.K. can identify with. Designs which speak to their backgrounds, heritage and love people have for their cities. We intend to expand this motif to a global scale, so that other people from around the world can gain the same sense of feeling and connection to our designs.
Sticking to their motif of 'Being Proud of your District and your Roots,' they have used a lot of simple but bold typography in their latest release. Staying true to their roots their latest shoot was taken in Manchester by Manchester house DJ Koast2Koast. https://www.facebook.com/djkoast2koast

Year after year, the image of ODF has matured and evolved; yet one thing remains the same- the message of diversity. This brand thrives off positivity within the team
and this is projected from the various garments that we have.
Simplicity of the designs has been consistent from the conception of ODF to present day; proving that although our items of clothing are not flamboyant or complex, they

Hand made in Spain these quintessential summer slip on’s have been reworked time and time again since the war. Now taking head from Riviera’s original 1950’s deck shoe this collection is now rising to fame on beaches, boats and bars worldwide once more!
The refined ‘Riviera gent’ style that struck such a chord in the 1960’s film ‘Purple Noon’ and its remake; ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ has never felt more current with the latest collection of casual slip ons by Riviera.
A shoe invented for the sun-drenched Mediterranean, has been adopted by savvy city folkfor its versatility of style. The marina inspired footwear can be worn by day as a casual slip on, yet effortlessly carries through to the evening for an understated cool alternative.
Recent collaborations with ‘Surface To Air’ and ‘United Arrows’ have seen a surge in popularity for the brand, seeing demand for the shoes in cities worldwide.
This hybrid piece combines the structure and support of a carefully crafted shoe, yet the relaxed ease and comfort of a trainer.

“LOOK, NO HANDS!!!”
It is very doubtful you have ever been introduced to a watch similar to that of a Tokyo Flash. They don't use traditional movements, hands or even digital displays. A lot of brands offer a take on a digital watch; however Tokyo Flash are the pioneers of digital concept watches, taking the mix of tech and art to a whole new level.
Time is displayed through clever methods of binary code and LCD lighting. No
two styles of watch use the same method to tell the time; a technique only the wearer learns.
Tokyo Flash brings ‘touch screen technology’ to a watch along with a host of
other groundbreaking features.
Each concept watch is limited edition with every design, engineered to be complex in appearance yet simple in practice. There’s even an impressive online gallery which acts as a museum to all their previous creations.
Their futuristic approach to product design has earned them a huge cult following in Japan; it’s difficult to think of many watch brands that are as unique and innovative as the one in question. No surprise that it’s the timepiece of choice for likes of ‘Will I am’, ‘Kanye West’, ‘Mikill Pane’ and ‘Labrinth’ to name a few..
Each piece is uniquely designed to capture brow raising attention and create
maximum individualism, ultimately these are not just for telling the time but stylish accessories
to be worn and collected.

We at Crooks & Castles have always routed for the villain whether it be in a movie, a comic book, a novel, a rap song or everyday life. Growing up in Los Angeles during the 80's & 90's we became a part of this villainous lifestyle. Gangs were everywhere - the hood, the city, even middle suburbia. Most had no choice but to adapt to the environment. Some were able to escape or even channel what they've learned on the streets into something lucrative. What caught our attention in the mid 90's was independent fashion / graphics brands. After years of learning the in's and out's of the business by starting a brand woithout knowledge of how to start or run a clothing company, we've finally come to this..."Crooks & Castles"! The concept was easy. "Crooks, criminals, pimps, hustles, theives etc And "Castles" those who got rich by becoming a crook. From the robber barons of the early times like the vanderbilts, the rockefellers, the Carnegies to the modern day billionaires - Bill Gates & Microsoft. Those who stopped at nothing to get their "Castle". We too hope one day to be the next rich crook. In some of our designs you might see a familiar icon or logo that we took (stole) and gave it our own twist. We felt that some high fashion brands only catered to someone in a certain lifestyle or with a rather large bank account. Therefore we took what they made and crafted it to fit ours. In all honesty.. who cares. We just really wanted to make some.. Hot Sh!t We thank you for supporting Crooks & Castles. Please keep supporting the Crooks and we'll keep servin up some hot sh!t!

de GRISOGONO sets the Eden Roc on fire to celebrate its 10th year at Cannes
This year, de GRISOGONO is celebrating 10 years in Cannes – a chance for the Geneva-based company to enchant the Croisette in the company of numerous celebrities for its famous Eden Roc evening on May 17th 2011. Exactly the kind of glittering evening for which Fawaz Gruosi has become renowned…
For its tenth soirée at the Eden Roc, de GRISOGONO set the Cap d’Antibes on fire with a “Gypsy Chic” themed evening. Fawaz Gruosi, Presidet and Founder hosted over 800 guests for an event not to be missed during the Cannes Film Festival. Among many celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Bianca Balti, Adriana Karembeu, Karolina Kurkova, Rob Lowe, Emmanuel de Savoie and his wife Clotilde Coureau, Goldie Hawn, along with Quincy Jones – all longstanding and faithful friends of the brand. A dazzling array of stars for an anniversary event with a magical atmosphere.
As Fawaz Gruosi’s guests were welcomed onto a red carpet lined with candles and flaming torches, they found themselves immersed into the mysterious world of Gypsies. Glamour, an inseparable part of the de GRISOGONO image, was apparent right from the start of the evening, with a non-stop parade of stars attired in sparkling evening dresses and adorned in the Brand’s most beautiful high jewellery creations. The Gypsy and Zigana jewellery collections were the perfect match for this special occasion, with its bold shapes and fluid movement all set with colourful precious stones.
A splendid cocktail gave invitees a chance to discover the latest de GRISOGONO collections, while the Black Eyed Peas Boys accompanied by the Gold Singers and by Tonino & the Gipsies set light to a room that was already abuzz with excitement.
The de GRISOGONO evening continued with a string of entrancing surprises. An impressively clever and refined “Flaming Fun” show delighted the audience during the dinner, which finished with a giant birthday cake carrying 10 candles that were blown out with the founder of de GRISOGONO in the company of his friends.
A de GRISOGONO customised Maybach
To celebrate the brand’s 10th year at Cannes, what could be better than the result of a daring new endeavour never yet undertaken by any jeweller? That was exactly what Fawaz Gruosi unveiled alongside Patrick Marinoff, CEO of the prestigious Maybach car manufacturer. Presented by 10 fashion models, the Maybach customised by de GRISOGONO is every inch a work of art in itself. An ultimate luxury object featuring Fawaz Gruosi’s initials engraved in black diamonds on the leather upholstery of its rear armrest. Other luxurious details include dashboard counters rimmed with white diamonds, as well as the signature de GRISOGONO scrolled motif featured on the car’s veneer trim. This amazing vehicle is the epitome of what can happen when two symbols of excellence unite in reinventing elegance…
Midnight Party
Another highlight of the evening was a firework display that illuminated the night sky above the Croisette with dazzling brilliance. It was at this point that the famous Will I.Am and the Black Eyed Peas Boys gave a live performance, before settling in at the turntable to keep guests dancing all night long! In keeping with its reputation, the de GRISOGONO soirée in Cannes lasted through till the following dawn … A 100% Glamour party that will remain an unforgettable landmark in the festive history of the Eden Roc hotel.
