Sizzla - "The Messiah"

Miguel Collins aka Sizzla is one of the most influential and enigmatic artists in reggae. Since his emergence in 1995 he has blazed a trail through the deepest roots and slackest dancehall and then back again. His musical range and daring have made Sizzla difficult to label, yet, iconic at the same time.
The Messiah is Sizzla's return to righteous dancehall from a 2013 perspective. Released through his Kalonji Music label, the album is written and executive produced by Mr. Collins himself. The Afro -centric themes of earlier albums (Black Woman & Child, Da Real Thing) are present with a seasoned voice and fresh perspective of a man on a musical mission.

Stealth MC - "Stealth Artois" (UK RAP Mixtape)

Stealth MC is another under rated UK rapper fighting to be recognised in the music scene. But if he's producing mixtapes like this then he's due to shine very soon. His mixtape is a must to have on your iTunes.

The lyrics and beats are nice. This mixtape features production from DJ Slademan, Richie Royale of Living Proof, Zom Beats, Section 9, Mad Potential and DJ Husky from Canada. Features also include Hoodini & Young Terra of NTL Footsoldiers.. JL.. & Big Mix amongst other. There's something for the hardest hip hop head and something for the ladies. Over all a very good mixtape with some hard beats.

Ruff Squad 2012 EP

In the depths of East London from way back in 2002, just over a decade to be exact, Ruff sqwad have been buzzing all and around the grime scene and to be honest it looks like they maybe one of the few collectives within the scene that has near enough remained relevant as well as still having most of the original members within the crew.As we know the crew never split up but just went on to do solo projects after the success of member "Tinchy Stryder" but still managed to collaborate on each others projects. Having not put out an album as a crew since "Guns And Roses Volume 2" which was 6 years ago, the grime collective ruff sqwad have come into the new year with a banging EP by the name of "2012"."2012" has brought back the old skool element of grime with a new skool twist which highlights the growth of each member with tracks such as "Anna 2" and "RSMD Remix".The EP features grime legends in the game from "D Double E" on "Dats How I Like It" to "JME" on "Journey" and additionally to add to the concoction of this entertaining EP, array of talented producers brought some gritty as well as charismatic sounds to "2012" which contributed to the dynamic sounds of each crew member perfectly.By hearing "2012" this 12 tracked EP is an immense start to what maybe a monumental year for the sqwad.
